Steve Chase 80s

We were beyond excited when called in to update a glamorous 1980s home in Rancho Mirage, originally designed by interior design icon, Steve Chase. When you have a perfectly preserved Steve Chase time capsule, you use a light touch. We added desert-themed artwork and reupholstered the original custom pieces to add a contemporary note to the 80s vibe. In the kitchen, we replaced the Corian counters with beautiful natural quartzite. On the covered patio, we added an outdoor kitchen embellished with dimensional glazed tiles. The octagonal primary bedroom, which retains its original upholstered walls, required some creative thinking. We added a modern free-standing tub and chandelier to the glam primary bathroom. Guest rooms exude 80s nostalgia with mauve hues and iconic Nagel artwork.
