Rose Avenue

We gave this iconic midcentury residence, designed by Charles Du Bois and built by the famed Alexander Construction Company, a sensitive renovation that includes large-format tile flooring, a new kitchen and bathrooms, and folding doors that take advantage of the desert climate. With a wooden ceiling and beams, textural grasscloth walls, and a warm color scheme, our design pays tribute to the organic influences and simple materials of the midcentury movement -- often overshadowed by the more glossy and colorful motifs popular today.
