Our firm is going to the dogs, and we wouldn't have it any other way! We are pleased to introduce the furry family members of our CKI team.
Meet Kevin
Kevin's human is our project manager Beth. He is a Cairn Terrier and just celebrated his first birthday. He still has a lot of puppy energy and loves to play fetch and chase a soccer ball.
However, he is not fond of vacuums and Swiffers, and must be placed in another room when it's time to clean the floors! Look at his sweet smile!

Meet Sandy
Sandy is the sweet fur baby of our resident architectural designer, Chris Porter, and his partner Carl Keith.
She is a terrier mix and approximately 8 years old. One day Carl was walking Shadow, their previous dog, and Sandy just appeared and followed them home. The rest is history. Sandy absolutely LOVES belly rubs, and doesn't like to be too far away from Carl. She doesn't like having her eyes cleaned and hates stopping in traffic. She likes to GO!

Meet Polly Pickles
Polly is the precious Boston Terrier of our Creative Director, Keith. While she resides primarily in North Carolina with Keith's partner, Todd, this 5 year old will reluctantly make FaceTime appearances to show Daddy Keith her new toys.
She loves chewing her toys ALL DAY LONG and has never met a ball she didn't love. She is not a fan of baths and is afraid of balloons -- but she loves to snuggle and get scratches.

And, of course, Harley
Abandoned with his litter on the streets of LA, Harley found his way to Christopher and David when he was less than six months old. He adapted to the good life in Palm Springs quite quickly and is well-known at many of the restaurants in town, because he is never away from one of his daddies. Like, ever.
Harley has been the mascot at our retail stores and our Show Houses, and has always been welcomed into the homes of our gracious clients.

Christopher and David never did a DNA test, because they prefer a little mystery and love him just as he is. At about 15 pounds with beautiful orange coloring, they like to imagine that he is the lovechild of a sweet Golden Retriever and spunky Spaniel.

Now 14 years old, he developed age-onset diabetes in 2023 and then lost his vision to diabetic cataracts. He still enjoys visiting all the nice restaurants in Palm Springs, rolling on the grass of the golf course, and David's homemade diabetes-friendly dog treats.
