Dubbed “the Jewel of Laguna Beach” when it was built, this iconic 1920s property on Laguna’s famed West Beach features five bedrooms and private steps leading from the beach to the hillside structure. Tasked with freshening up the property on a tight budget and in just four short weeks, before our client was to move in for the summer season, our team created a fresh, eclectic and layered vibe that incorporates classic California “plein air” artwork, modern furnishings from accessible national retailers, Sunbrella fabrics on all the upholstery, and healthy doses of the client’s favorite color - red. The result is a fun and carefree summer getaway that pays homage to endless summers and Americana at its best.
