My Homage to the Navy Chair in Modern Spaces

Patricia Lockwood, a brilliant interior designer out of LaQuinta, wrote a fabulous article for the Desert Sun about the life of the iconic Navy chair. Needless to say, I loved the article and wanted to pay homage in my own way. If you’ve ever dealt with unbalanced kitchen chairs, you’ll love the resilience of the 10-06 Navy chair. It was crafted by Wilton Dinges to literally withstand water, salt and heavy use.

This chair is phenomenal and I would jump at the opportunity to incorporate it into a design. One thing my clients quickly learn about me is that I’m not tied to tradition or trends. I trust my gut and the end result, is a solid design infused with inspiration. Join me on a photo journey-I know you’ll appreciate the mixture of nostalgia and modern style, elegantly called the Navy chair.
