Remember the daybed? In past years, it has lost a lot of visibility to the chaise, but thanks to Jiun Ho the modern daybed is back and better than ever. I think it’s safe to say the resurgence is accredited to the daybed’s new look. Traditional daybeds were meant to work the same way, but failed because they looked too much like beds~complete with bedskirts, iron rails and dressers. This isn’t so for Jiun Ho’s Malacca daybed. The Malacca is daring, stylish and oh so comfy!
Everybody loves a good chaise! The Chambord is the smaller counterpart to the Chambord Sofa. It also comes with a matching pillow, but you know me, I must have color. I would push the limit with bold pillows that tied into the design of the room.

If you don’t have room for a chaise or daybed, consider a chair and ottoman instead. They have all the comfort of the former, but take up less space. I love the clean lines and chunky legs of the Karibu Chair (pictured below). The added touch of that lengthy printed pillow makes it extra inviting.
